This site is close to the town of Carrickfergus in County Antrim. The works was substantially rebuilt around the year 2000. It supplies treated reservoir water to over 30,000 people in the local area. There is also an SKE Solutions PAC silo & delivery system on this site.

The system is designed to dose lime slurry to fresh water for PH correction. The plant is all installed indoors, and comprises a silo with 2-off spiral feed conveyors, supplying powder to separate mixing tanks. While one mixing tank is being filled, the other is dosing to the mains water supply. This is a highly reliable system, ensuring a good quality water supply is available for local consumers. In many ways this is an ideal installation for trouble-free lime handling. All plant is indoors, and the silo is sized to accommodate a single-truck delivery. Also the lime turnover rate means the silo is replenished monthly, keeping the lime fresh.
