SKE Spiraline Shaft-less Screw Coveyor- SCO

Spiraline Screw Conveyors (SCO) provide the user with a cost-effective solution to bulk solids handling. SKE’s Screw Conveyors can be used industrial and commercial applications for either recovery or removal purposes or for waste flows to convey separately screened solids.

Technical Information

U shaped trough, cover lids, end plates, legs, inlets and outlets are constructed out of high quality AISI 304 stainless steel to ensure years of trouble free operation. The dewatering and conveying spiral is manufactured out of high tensile carbon steel or AISI 304/ AISI 316 stainless steel construction and the spiral line is manufactured out of 10mm UHMDW or AISI 304/ AISI 316 stainless steel dewatering bars.

Where requirements dictate, shafted conveyors are also available and can be supplied as an alternative option to shaftless screw spirals. Liners are supplied in various materials including high molecular plastics or stainless steel to suit the application.

Operation
Solids are conveyed by a heavy duty shaftless screw spiral that rotates between wear resistant liners without the use of any intermediate bearings. This method provides high throughput without the risk of clogging and significantly reduces and simplifies maintenance requirements. The spirals are highly resistant to wear and provide great durability over many years of operation. Conveyors are available with single or dual screw spirals depending on the inclination and the throughput required.
